No entrance pass required

An entrance pass is not required to access General Grant National Memorial.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

2024 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

• Monday, January 15 — Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• Saturday, April 20 — First Day of National Park Week
• Wednesday, June 19 — Juneteenth
• Sunday, August 4 — The Great American Outdoors Act
• Saturday, September 28 — National Public Lands Day
• Monday, November 11 — Veterans Day

 

Fees
Admission to the site is free.

This includes entrance to the memorial and to the visitor center, and to all ranger-led programs.

Permits
Commercial filming and photography as well as other special uses, when appropriate, may be approved through a permit. Fees and cost-recovery may apply. Please see Permits & Reservations for more information.
