At 202 feet in height, the Navy Memorial is the tallest monument in Vicksburg National Military Park. It is a tribute to the officers and sailors of the U.S. Navy who served in the Vicksburg Campaign. At the base of the monument are four statues of the fleet commanders, Admirals Farragut and Porter, and Flag Officers Davis and Foote.
