Preservation of the historic ruins at Tumacácori has been an on-going process for 100 years


In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Tumacácori National Historical Park (formerly Tumacácori National Monument) by proclamation of President Theodore Roosevelt on September 15, 1908, a full year of events are being planned to take place during the year 2008.
