Stones River National Battlefield encourages public participation and comments when planning projects that affect park resources and visitor experience.

You can view and comment on projects that are currently in the planning stages at the Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) web site.

Stones River National Battlefield uses prescribed fire to preserve the battlefield landscapes. Fire also helps eliminate invasive exotic plants and encourage the growth of native grass species.
