Rangers from Stones River National Battlefield present two distance learning presentations in cooperation with the Instructional Technology Support Center and Middle Tennessee State University.

The Battle Continues - Tuesday, October 7, 2008 (9 AM - 10 AM CST)

A healthy and diverse ecosystem is crucial to maintaining the historical landscapes of Stones River National Battlefield. In this history and science program, students will learn through hands-on activities how native plants are being threatened by invasive "exotic" plants, and will see the effects this new "battle" has on park animals, the food chain, and the historic appearance of the landscape.
