Operating Hours & Seasons

The Visitor Center is open to the public throughout the year. The Southeast Alaska Indian Cultural Center, totem poles, and museum exhibits are located in the building.
 
Visitor Center
  • mid-May through September:  Daily, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • October through mid-May:  Monday-Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Closed on Federal holidays during the winter months.

Russian Bishop's House

  • mid-May through September:  Daily, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Ranger-led tours are offered every 30 minutes.
  • October through mid-May:  Open by appointment only.  Please call (907) 747-0110 to schedule a ranger-led tour.

Park Trails

  • mid-May through September:  Daily, 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
  • October through mid-May:  Daily, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Did You Know?
The Russian imperial government maintained colonies in Alaska devoted to a lucrative fur trade. The Russian Bishop's House is one of a few remaining buildings from the Russian colonial period.
