Operating Hours & Seasons

The Lowndes County Interpretive Center is open daily 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST. We are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.  The Trail is open year-round.

Did You Know?
The efforts of the Selma to Montgomery marchers led to President Lyndon B. Johnson introducing, on March 15, 1965, a voting rights bill which passed as the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
