Saint-Gaudens hosts a variety of ranger-guided tours for school groups of all ages that visit the park. Below are links to more information about pre- and post-visit materials, as well as materials that can be used during visits to the park, and field trip outlines.
Though these materials are used mainly with tours led by our rangers, materials are available or can be adapted for school groups wishing to do a self-guided tour. Did You Know?
There was a WWII liberty ship named the Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Launched in March 1944, in Panama City, Florida, it was later used to ferry troops during D Day, June 6, 1944. It was sold to Italy in 1947 and renamed the Nazareno. The ship was scrapped in 1967.
