Take a self-guided walking tour of the Royal Grounds and Puuhonua and take a walk back in time. Avid hikers may opt to head for the park back-country trails to view historic agricultural sites that give clues into the way Hawaiians once lived and prospered here. Fishing and picnicking can be enjoyed at the picnic area.

Did You Know?
Did you know that the coconut tree was an important resource in Hawai'i? It served as a source of food and water, material for building and rope making, and was made into drums. Cutting down the coconut grove of another person's was considered an act of war.
