Point Reyes National Seashore makes every effort to keep the public informed about news events, accomplishments, employee recognitions, special and re-occurring events which occur within and around the units of the Park Service.

Point Reyes National Seashore issues news releases to local and regional newspapers, and publishes Visitor Guides and other newsletters. Park Wavelengths is a bi-weekly email that contains natural and cultural history information, notices about events and other news about the Seashore.

Did You Know?
Four species of pinnipeds (seals and sea lions) rest onshore or breed at Point Reyes: the Northern elephant seal (Mirounga angustirostris), the harbor seal (Phoca vitulina), the California sea lion (Zalophus californianus), and the Steller sea lion (Eumetopias jubatus).
