Pacific Coast Science and Learning Center: Science and Research

The NPS Inventory and Monitoring Program has extensive programs and reports on Bay Area National Park's biological resources, including elephant seals, harbor seals, Spotted Owls, Snowy Plovers and many other important components of Bay Area National Parks.

The U.S. Geological Survey's Western Ecological Research Station conducts research on amphibians, mammals and several other groups at Point Reyes National Seashore.
