Giacomini Wetland Restoration Project Phase II

Construction for Phase II is scheduled to start in June 2008, and will continue through November 30, 2008, except for revegetation, which will extend into December 2008. Information on project timing, maps, and impacts on area residents and visitors will be updated as needed.

Snowy Plover Docent Program Looking for Volunteers

Beginning in June, docents help protect threatened nesting snowy plovers from disturbance by contacting park visitors on the beach and educating them about the natural history, plight, and protection of the snowy plovers.
