Operating Hours & Seasons

Visitor Center
Open - 8 AM to 5 PM daily.

Holidays Closed - Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

The Circle Trail 
Open daily.  The 3/4-mile loop is a walking trail.  Motorized vehicles and bicycles are not allowed on the Circle Trail.  Leashed pets are allowed on the trail; owners are expected to clean up after their pets.  During the winter months parts of the trail may not be accessible because of snow and/or ice. 

Valid entrance passes are required to tour the visitor center and/or the Circle Trail.  Purchase or show a valid pass in the visitor center.

Western Prairie Fringed Orchid  

Did You Know?
Two species listed under the Endangered Species Act are found at Pipestone National Monument: the Topeka shiner and the Western Prairie Fringed Orchid.
