Did You Know?
In 1540 FV de Coronado visited Pecos Pueblo. Pecos was one of the largest settlements in NA, north of Mexico. His fruitless search for riches from the Zunis & Southern Tiwas & his inhospitable encounters had preceded him, so the leaders of Pecos encouraged him to pursue his quest on eastern NM & Ne.
