The Malaquite Beach Visitor Center is accessible. There are graded ramps to the exhibit area as well as accessible restroom facilities. Two wheelchairs, specially designed for use in the soft sand of the beach, are available free of charge. An elevator is available for access to the main observation deck. The park orientation video and a video on the sea turtle program is closed captioned in either Spanish or English.

The park has wheelchairs especially designed for use on the beach for loan at no charge. Users will need, however, to leave a driver's license or personal wheelchair at the visitors center until the park's is returned. All wheelchairs must be returned by the end of the business day.
