Possible Entrance & Activity Fees
Details:
Entrance and parking fees may be charged at some locations and hours vary at the discretion of the site administrator/manager. Large groups are encouraged to make prior arrangements for tours, where available.
The Links & Resources page maintains a partial list of contact information for site managers as well as a bibliography of suggested reading materials.
Information about purchasing the National Park Golden Eagle & Parks annual passes, the lifetime Golden Age and Access passes (now called the America the Beautiful Passes) is available here. There are no fees for visiting the national historic trails, but some trail resources and sites are on federal lands managed by other agencies that do collect these fees.
Please respect private property by staying in public areas, and help protect our national heritage by leaving trail resources undisturbed.
