Sledding: The Small Children's Snowplay Area is closed for the season. The Sunrise snowplay area has been closed due to hazards associated with the site.  These include:

  • the site's location next to the road, which has led to children and adults actually sliding into the road;
  • the lack of parking has resulted in both vehicles and pedestrians using the road's travel lanes for parking and walking, creating extremely hazardous conditions during the icy and snowy winter months.
  • plowing and sanding operations are impossible when people and vehicles are along or in the road.

Automated Weather Station (temperature and wind speed)

General Information:

  • The road may close with short notice due to severe weather, unsafe road conditions or a full parking lot.
