Plan Your Visit

We look forward to seeing you at North Cascades National Park.  Here are some ideas to get you started on planning your trip.

Contact Ranger Stations or look at maps on this site. The North Cascades Challenger newspaper (PDF 446 KB) will also give you some helpful ideas and details you need to plan your trip. And of course, knowing the current park conditions will make your trip more enjoyable and safer.

If you are planning a trip into the backcountry our wilderness trip planner will give you the information you need. Check out our new Fishing Guide to the North Cascades (PDF 118KB) for ideas about where to fish and what to catch.

Materials available from the Visitor Centers are also available here on-line. Contact our Headquarters by phone at 360 854-7200 for newspapers and maps by mail.
