The National Park Service offers opportunities to learn more about and enjoy New River Gorge National River. All programs are free of charge and everyone is welcome. A wide array of subjects is covered and several areas of the park are utilized. Visit New River Gorge National River, attend a ranger program, and stop by one of the park visitor centers to view displays, watch a film, or access park information. If you are between 7 and 14 years of age, you may want to become a "Junior Ranger."

Did You Know?
You can "catch a train" to visit the park! The AMTRAK Cardinal travels through New River Gorge on its route from New York, NY to Chicago, IL.
