Things To Know Before You Come
 

 

The Washington’s Headquarters Museum building, originally built in the early 1930s, is presently open while still undergoing a rehabilitation and expansion project. 
Currently there are two new exhibit galleries and the bookstore open to the public.

 

Tours of the 1772 Ford Mansion, which served as George Washington’s Headquarters, will continue throughout the construction project. Accessibility is limited.

 


Tours begin at the Museum:

·        Group of 10 or more must make reservations. By calling 973-539-2016 ext. 210

·        Starting at 10 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM & 4 PM.
