  • Overlooks on Scenic Drive

  • Blue Hole
  • Backcountry Area
  • Canyon Area

The above areas are open 7 days a week, Daylight hours only.

 

Canyon Mouth Day Use Area

  • 7 days a week
  • 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM thru September.
  • There is a $3 user fee per vehicle for this area.

 

Little River Canyon National Preserve Headquarters

  • Monday - Friday
    8:00 AM until 4:30 PM (CST)
  • Saturday - 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM (CST)
  • This office is closed on all federal holidays.

 

CAMPING SEASON
Camping in the Backcountry Area is allowed from February 1 - September 30 at the three primitive campsites.

  2. Hartline Ford
  3. Slant Rock

Camping is not allowed in the canyon.

ATV Riding  

Did You Know?
All operators of non-licensed motorized vehicles (ATV's, dirt bikes, etc.) must obtain a permit in person at the Little River Canyon National Preserve Headquarters office in order to ride in the Backcountry Area. The operator must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
