Grades 3 - 5 can participate in our new curriculum-based program Join the Journey.
We are now taking reservations for the workshop. Clock hours will be given for attending this four hour activity.

For other instructors wanting to visit the park, view a film or have a ranger talk to your group, you may begin reserving Fall 2009 through Winter 2010 dates starting September 1, 2009. Please refer to our Reservations Calendar for open dates.

Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park is in the process of developing new programs for both primary and secondary grades. We are looking for educators to help develop, review, and participate in these curriculum-based education programs.

Right now we have a need for 4th grade classes to help test a new curriculum-based program that meets GLE for writing, social studies, mathematics, reading, and communications. Participants will also be offered partial reimbursement for transportation costs. Space is limited in this program. For more information contact Tim Karle at 206-220-4240.

School Visits between June 1, 2009 - September 1, 2009

No reservations are taken for this these dates. ALL visits are on a first come space available basis. Our regular summer visitor's schedule begins June 15. At that time all programming including movies and panning demonstrations are scheduled.

For groups planing to visit our park there are Scavenger Hunt forms for you to download. These hunts let the students explore the many displays while searching for their hunt answers. ( Grades 1 - 6)
