Visitor Center Activities:
(located at 2nd & Broadway)
Enjoy a Ranger Presentation each day at 10 AM - 45 minute talks on various topics in the visitor center auditorium. Summer only.
See the 30 minute film "Gold Fever: Race to the Klondike" in the visitor center auditorium at 8, 9, 11 AM & 12, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 PM. Winter visitors should ask at park headquarters for the movie.
Check the schedule posted in the visitor center for park sponsored evening programs.

Explore the Mascot Saloon - an authentic 1910 saloon museum where you can almost hear the tinkling of the piano competing with the conversation of hopeful prospectors. Open daily early May through mid-September, 8 AM - 6 PM at Third and Broadway.

Visit the historic Moore House and Cabin to experience early homesteading in this lonely valley. Open daily, early May through mid-September, 10 AM to 5 PM at Fifth and Spring Streets.

Did You Know?
During the height of the Klondike Gold Rush, Finnegan's Camp on the Chilkoot Trail was a tent city. There were saloons, restaurants and hotels all housed in tents.
