There are many ways to get involved in your park system.  At this site there are numerous volunteer opportunities, research opportunities, a friend's group,  partnerships, and rangers willing to listen to your ideas.  For more information call the park staff at (202) 426-6905.  Donations can be made to the park or the friends group.

Parks  may accept donations from individuals, families, organizations, foundations, corporations, businesses, associations and other entities. Your contribution will be used to enhance visitor services and support resource protection and programs throughout the park. No other federal agency relies as heavily on the generosity and kindness of its visitors, and we thank you for your past support and look forward to future cooperation.

Donations can be made directly to the park  by contacting the site manager

Eastern National it the parks cooperation association, managing the park stores, providing educational items for visitors. They are  a 501(c)3 non-profit cooperating association, operating in more than 150 national parks and other public trusts.  They are dedicated to the preservation and use of the parks for the benefit of all Americans, visitors from all nations and future generations.

Did You Know?
In 1891, Saint Elizabeths Hospital, acquired the Oxon Cove Park Property, to establish a farm where patients, removed from the confines of a hospital setting, could benefit from fresh air and outdoor work at this new "farm colony." This hospital farm was called Godding Croft.
