National Register of Historic Places Photo Contest
We want to see your best photographs of NRHP listings! NR staff will browse the photographs to pick winners once there are a significant number of entries that follow the guidelines. A group of winning photographs may be featured on our website (you'll be contacted first). Enter the National Register of Historic Places Photo Contest!
To make this a fair and fun competition, we ask that participants:
Limit their entry to 5 photographs maximum
Highlight different types of NRHPs in a variety of places ; the staff hopes to see a sample of every state/territory in rural, urban, and suburban locations, and variety of types (lighthouse, historic district, commercial, districts, objects, etc.)
Include property name, county, and state (To check if a property is listed, see our databases or send us a Flickr mail message)
Focus on National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) and not National Historic Landmarks (NHL)
