	Great Smoky Mountains National Park How the Reservation System Works

Frontcountry Campsites in the park can be reserved for dates between May 15 - October 31. Reservations for Group Campsites can be made for dates between mid-March and late October. Reservations for Horse Camps are available for dates between early April and mid-November. Advance reservations are required at Group Campsites and Horse Camps.

Reservations can be made in advance as follows:

Frontcountry Campsites	6 months in advance
Group Campsites	12 months in advance
Horse Camps	6 months in advance
Picnic Pavilion	12 months in advance

Please remember that you can only make reservations between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time if you reserve by calling the toll-free number (877) 444-6777. Online reservations can be made 24 hours a day.

			Did You Know? Money to buy the land that became Great Smoky Mountains National Park was raised by individuals, private groups, and even school children who pledged their pennies. In addition, the Laura Spellman Rockefeller Memorial Fund donated $5 million to create the park.
