Fees & Reservations

Permits: Commercial Use, Special Use.

Entrance Fee: Weekly Passes, Annual Permits and Boating fees.

Camping: Information for developed campgrounds, beach camping, primitive and reservation campgrounds.

Pass Mail-in Program: Purchase your annual recreation entrance and/or annual recreation vessel permit through the mail.

Academic Fee Waiver: Schools and other bona fide academic institutions conducting non-comercial educational purposes outings,  may request an Academic Fee Waiver for Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Cick HERE for information, and to apply.
 

 

 

Fee Free Weekends Summer 2009!

Spend a weekend at the lake for free. Tough economic times call for economical fun, and you can’t beat America’s 391 national parks for family time, fresh air, and opportunities to learn about our great country.

The park has waived entrance fees for individual vehicles on:
June 20-21 (Father’s Day weekend)
July 18-19
August 15-16

Please note: entrance fees for boats and camping have not been waived. Boating and camping fees will be full price during fee free weekends.

Look out below! Watch for underwater hazards. The lake level changes daily and seasonally. Only Lake Powell's main channel is marked with navigational aids.
