Fees are collected at a self-service pay station at the trailhead. Payment by credit card may be made at the Gila Visitor Center. Payment by exact change or check may be made at the trailhead. Change is not available at the trailhead.

Family
$10.00 per family - per day
A family is defined as one immediate family unit of parents and children.

Individual
$3.00 per adult (16 years and older) - per day
Free entrance for children 15 years and younger. 

Federal Passes and Golden Passports
No fee for holders of Golden Passports and their immediate families or Federal Passes and up to 3 accompanying adults. Federal Passes are available for purchase at the Gila Visitor Center.

School groups or other educational institutions
Free with fee waiver
Educational groups (from a county, state, or federally-recognized educational institution, such as a school or university coming specifically to study the dwellings as part of their curriculum) may qualify for a fee waiver at the discretion of the Superintendent. Fee waiver requests typed on school letterhead need to state the date and time of visit, number of people, contact person, and a short description of how the visit fits into the group's curriculum. Please mail or fax fee waiver requests to the Gila Visitor Center at least two (2) weeks in advance of the visit. Contact us.
