The public may visit the George Mason Memorial 24 hours a day.  However Rangers are on duty at the nearby Thomas Jefferson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorials to answer questions from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 P.M. daily.

Did You Know?
The living National Christmas Tree, a Colorado blue spruce originated, from York, Pennsylvania and was planted on the Ellipse on October 20, 1978. The tree stands as a daily reminder of the holiday spirit and of the tradition each succeeding President has participated in since 1923.
