The snack bars at Watch Hill and Sailors Haven are open seasonally on Fire Island. Several Fire Island communities also have eating establishments, and food is available seasonally at Robert Moses and Captree State Parks and Smith Point County Park. Expect to pay slightly higher prices on Fire Island.

Numerous restaurants are located on Long Island.
