Learning is fun!

Cumberland Island provides a vast array of opportunities for investigation and exploration. Lesson activities are designed to compliment class studies and reinforce concepts. Each activity has been correlated to the pertinent Georgia Performance Standards. While the activities have been designed to be used on Cumberland Island, some activities can be used in the school setting as well.

When planning a field trip to Cumberland Island, activities can be teacher –led entirely or a 1 hour program offered by a ranger can be requested once a ferry reservation is made.

Pertinent information for planning a field trip is available by clicking on the corresponding link above.
