Support Your Park
Last rays of the sun turn the sky orange along the beach.
The orange glow of the last rays of sunlight paint the sky and waters along the beach in Cape Lookout.

There are many ways that you can support Cape Lookout National Seashore and the National Park Service. Some are easily done during your visit, such as:

  • bringing a bag with you on your visit to use as a trash bag to carry all your empty drink bottles, cans, wrappers, baggies and other left-overs from your picnic back to the mainland for disposal and recycling. Practice the Leave No Trace principles during your visit, help us keep the beach clean.
  • Purchasing something in the bookstore at one of our visitor centers. A portion of all sales of books and other items is returned to the park in support of visitor programs and activities.

You can join our friends group which provides support for many programs and activities at Cape Lookout National Seashore.

You can also volunteer your time and talents to assist the park with a variety of needs. There are opportunities for both individuals and groups to help the park for a single day or for longer periods of time.

You could also make a donation to the park in support of a project or program.
