Filming Permits
A filming permit is required for commercial filming defined as any digital or film recording of a visual image or sound recording by a person, business, or other entity for a market audience, such as a documentary, television or feature film, advertisement, or similar project. Commercial still photographers require a permit if the photography involves the use of a model, set, or prop; requires entry into a closed area or access to the park outside of normal working hours.

Did You Know?
Did you know that there are no dams found on the Buffalo National River. In fact, a number of people realized this and fought to keep the river untouched by dam builders. On March 1, 1972, Congress established Buffalo National River as the country's first national river.
