The Battlefield is open seven days a week. The park's hours are:
Summer: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Fall: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Winter/Spring: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Starting Monday, August 25,2008, the Battlefield will be open during its fall hours (9:00AM to 5:00PM).
In adddition the Battlefield is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.

Did You Know?
The battle at Big Hole National Battlefield is remembered in many ways. A Nez Perce dance, the "Duck and Dive", commmorates the capture of a Howitzer during the battle.
