Group Reservations are highly recommended. To assure staff availability please contact the Battlefield from 9 am to 5 pm daily at (406) 689-3155. There is no entrance fee at this site.

Soldiers monument at Big Hole National Battlefield.  

Did You Know?
In 1883, the US government placed a 6 ton monument at Big Hole National Battlefield. The monument was in honor of the soldiers and volunteers that died in the battle. It would be forty years before a memorial would be placed here for the Nez Perce.
