Pocket gophers dig burrows underground searching for food and can be very damaging to archeological sites.

Bandelier has a Junior Ranger program for kids from kindergarten to 8th grade and a Deputy Ranger program for those older individuals who want to participate. For more information click on the Be A Junior Ranger link.
