  • 0900 hrs- Staging for Escort Ride at Wal-Mart Parking Lot, Americus
  • 1000 hrs-Escort Ride to Andersonville National Historic Site
  • 1100 hrs- Korean War POW Plaque Dedication Ceremony
  • 1400 hrs- Escort Ride from Wal-Mart Parking Lot to First Baptist Church
  • 1430 hrs- Remembrance Ceremony at First Baptist Church
  • 1900 hrs- Heroes Dinner
  • 2100 hrs- Candlelight Ceremony

  • 0800 hrs- Staging for Escort Ride at Wal-Mart Parking Lot, Americus
  • 0900 hrs- Escort Ride to National POW Museum
  • 1000 hrs- Recognition Ceremony

As with all Rolling Thunder events, a motorcycle is not required to ride. All vehicles are welcomed. Participants need only the desire to pay tribute to our American Heroes- POWs and MIAs.

Did You Know?
The site of Andersonville prison was owned by both the Grand Army of the Republic and the Woman’s Relief Corp before being purchased by the federal government in 1910. The prison site was administered, along with Andersonville National Cemetery, by the Department of the Army until 1971.
